Years later...

Welp, it's rainy and pandemic-y outside, so I have plenty of time to pursue creative ventures. Ought to fire the ol blog back up. I have a small back log of art that I've done since 2014 that I guess I should catch up on. I'll try and do it categorically. Let's start with tattoos.

Greg and I started doing handpoked tattoos 8 years ago now. I haven't done any work since his last yearly ring, but I'm really hoping to get some more stuff going soon, especially if I'm going to have a bunch of time on my hands. Tried to do this in chronological order from earliest to most recent.

Early stages of Greg's wrist. There are a lot more lines on it now.

Neurosis dude from the Pain of Mind album cover.

Collab with Greg.

Collab with Greg and Josh.

Bracken family fern (healed and hairy!).

One of my favorites I've done.

Just the lines; rabbit skull with hawk feathers in the center not done by me.

Seal (First pentacle of Venus) featured on the Eyehategod album Dopesick.

Goat hooves for a trio of zookeepers.

Still WIP

 Kookaburra! Collab with Greg.

Cape buffalo skull.

The stinging nettles were a collab with Greg, rattlesnake is all me.

Snek.

Oops, shitty photo. The classic 'bird silhouette' tattoo.

California poppies.

That's the bulk of it I think. Gonna try to work on my left arm a little more, but goddamn it's so much nicer to just have someone else tattoo you. Would really like to make some flash sheets too, just to wrangle up some interest. I don't think tattooing people I don't live with will be happening much during this turbulent, quarantine-filled era of our lives, but I can at least prepare for future work.
